Kathleen McCallister

Kathleen served 18 years in elected public office and in part serving the educational needs of children. Has taught Children’s Sunday School in varying capacities for over 20 years.

She is the President of New Hope, a non-profit corp. dedicated to serving the needs of those who are hopeless and struggling to gain freedom and control of life as they walk out of jail, addictions, and come to know Christ. This January New Hope House will open its doors to women in recovery. She has endeavored to serve the needs of the entire family, in order to break the cycle of crime, poverty and addiction. Throughout her life she has served on many boards and commissions advancing the cause of Christ and service to the hurting.

In addition to her duties as President of New Hope, she teaches bible studies to hurting women, mentors families in recovery, and anyone else God puts in her path.
